A spiritual counselor’s calling is to partner with spirit to hold sacred space for your healing and to remind you of the sacredness of your being. Informed by compassion and kindness a spiritual counselor uses a process of intuitive inquiry to companion you along your revelatory and personal path of healing and wholeness.
Analogous to pastoral counseling, spiritual counsel is a confidential and trauma-informed therapeutic healing modality that supports clients in moving from grief, distress and confusion towards healing, grounding, 'wholing' and transformation.
Resourcing with spirit ushers healing and (re)connection with your own resplendent, wise, and resilient core. Your power, consent, and intuition is always honored by this process and is never bypassed. When sitting in spiritual counsel your heart and thoughts are held softly, carefully and intentionally, within a safe and supportive container.
Revealing, deepening or expanding your own unique relationship to spirit can be a source of gentle awakening, unveiling meaning in your life or making sense of your world. In collaboration with spirit, your reclamation of sovereignty can be supported, i.e., releasing anything that binds or burdens you, resourcing with your own inner wisdom, and (re)discovering your own vibrant resiliency.

Many along the path of healer and guide seek an anam cara, a ‘soul friend’ to accompany them on their journey, guide them where needed, reflect their divinity back to them, and to help them see their blindspots as opportunities for expansion and evolution.
Spiritual mentoring is a dynamic and flexible container where we partner with spirit to co-create a deeply nourishing, held, and intentional offering for you and your work along your spiritual path.
Examples include walking with the Celtic otherworld, building your body of work, space holding, tending shadow, feedback on programs and offerings, pricing your work, and walking the path of the Priestess, amongst various other unique offerings.

Sacred to the Druids, known by the Ogham, trees and their lore is central to Heather’s work in the world. Trees are her beloved kin, teachers, and guides.
Heather’s work with tree lore also includes sacred animals, sites, herbs and plants of the Celtic lands, all powerful healers and wisdom keepers in their own right.

A lifetime of Earth connection, a life as an animist, informs this practice. Deep compassion comes from the experience of having walked the long roads of trauma healing from a youth of physical and emotional abuse resulting in complex ptsd followed by years of difficult relationships, challenges with focus and work, and soul confusion. During the darkest periods of this life’s walk, resourcing with the spirit of the natural world was a lifeline, the non-human communities of trees, waters, stones, and stars were a source of connection and a bridge through loneliness. These ancient and precious beings as my guides helped me to resource and connect with an inner resiliency I was unaware I had. This healing community was my original source of connection and support before I was able to turn towards, and trust, human healers and guides. My inner complexity was so beautifully mirrored by the complexities of the natural world and I found a sense of belonging, a sense of universal truth, when I saw my weaving connected to the whole of life.
This relational, wellness-informed practice is one of unyielding compassion, sovereign re-building and practical guidance. For some, I simply hold space, offering presence, a kind ear and a source of connection. For some, support is offered through gentle reflection and awareness building, unraveling stories that no longer serve and collaboratively creating conditions that result in the (re)discovery of deeply resilient and radiant natures. For some, we pray together, connecting quietly with the divine or the spirit of the mountain, ocean, or sky. For some, I guide them into journey space to meet their own unique spiritual support to recover soul parts, unravel contracts, and discover their path and purpose. I undertake rites, hold space, tend the temple of the Earth, translate experiences, advise leaders, and offer coaching and guidance to resonant hearts in ways that are sometimes called a counselor, and sometimes called a wisdom keeper or a high priestess.
Support via this counsel is guided by the natural world, woven with ancestral wisdom, and lives in honor of the wonders of the human vessel (body) to prompt and gently, subtly, guide us towards wholing. I am a trained shamanic healer and seer and this practice is also deeply informed by my own trauma-healing, facilitated via years of both Sensorimotor and Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered Somatic Psychotherapy; guided by the graceful, undomesticated, infinitely kind, unfailingly wild, fully sovereign heart and profoundly present spirit of nature.
